Fifi and Friends product review

Happy Tuesday Secret lifers! Hope you’re all having a great start to your week. This week in my blog I am checking out a few of the products from the Fifi & Friends range. I love trying out new products with natural ingredients and I love to let you guys know what I think. This is a gifted collaboration but all the thoughts and opinions are my own.

The product collection is made with all natural ingredients and they never test on animals.

A full list of ingredients can be found here https://www.fifiandfriends.co.uk/Our-Formula/

There are no nasties included so they are free from sulphate, paraben, silicones and wheat.

Ok so that’s the information bit now let me tell you what I thought about the products we trialled. We were given Gentle Swimmers shampoo, Cleansing Wipes with organic Aloe Vera, Rescue Cream and Conditioning Detangling spray.

The first thing we tried out was the Gentle Swimmers Shampoo.

We go through A LOT of shampoo with Ezra because one of his favourite things to do is rub his food into his hair. Seriously.

I have to smell anything before I use it. Anyone else? No just me? Ok then. This shampoo has a great smell. It reminds me of baby bath when my sister was a baby 30 odd years ago. It seems gentle enough on his eyes and I haven’t had any tears when rinsing out the shampoo.

We were also really glad to trial the Conditioning Detangling Spray.

Ezra has quite long hair so it can get a little tangled after a wash but this spray is fantastic. So easy to just spray on and you haven’t got the hassle not washing it out a second time. Ideal for those who hate having their hair washed. Also no tangles. It has a great smell again and I’m not sure if it is this or the shampoo that makes his hair really shiny or a combination of both but I really have noticed a difference since using the products.

His hair is really silky and I cannot stop sniffing his head. For real! As a side note I have noticed his cradle cap has really improved and almost cleared but I cannot 100% say it is because of this product or if it is just a coincidence.

We also reviewed the Cleansing Wipes with Organic Aloe Vera.

I am a bit of a fusspot when it comes to wipes. I like them to be thick, wet enough and a good fragrance is always a bonus. Check, check and check. The trifecta! With wipes you get what you pay for. They will cost a bit more than some of the cheaper brands BUT you will use far less so it’s much if a muchness really. I truly do love these wipes!

The final product we used was the Rescue Cream.

This cream is to be used as a barrier cream. I can see on their web page that it is suitable for eczema but we used it on his bottom. We have been having issues with Ezra having very watery, loose stools and we are currently looking into whether he has an intolerance to something. At one point he was having his bowels opened 6 times a day and his little bum was getting sore so this came just in the nick of time. It didn’t seem to sting when I put it on when he was sore and I’m sure that it helped soothe the skin and protect it from the stools.

Thank you Fifi and Friends. We loved your products and would definitely recommend them to others.
